Shallow Water Solutions 1-Year Limited Warranty

1. Warranty Term

Shallow Water Solutions (“SWS”) provides a 1-Year Limited Warranty beginning on the date of purchase. Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and to motors bearing an intact SWS serial number tag.

2. 7-Day Full Replacement Guarantee

If the motor experiences major functional failure (no power, no steering, no thrust) within 7 days of purchase, SWS will replace the unit with a comparable model. This guarantee excludes failures caused by impact, wiring issues, or water intrusion.

3. What This Warranty Covers

If a covered internal electrical component fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use within the 1-year period, SWS will ship a replacement part at no cost.

Covers:

• Control board

• Steering motor

• i-Pilot / GPS head electronics

• Speed control electronics

• Lift-assist mechanisms (if applicable)

This is a parts-only warranty. Customer is responsible for installation.

4. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

• Improper wiring, incorrect breaker size, low-voltage batteries, reversed polarity, or lithium surges

• Physical or impact damage (bent shafts, cracked housings, running while partially deployed)

• Water intrusion or lower unit damage

• Saltwater corrosion after purchase

• Commercial, rental, or tournament use

5. Warranty Claim Requirements Customer must submit:

• A video clearly showing the issue

• A written description of how the issue occurred

6. Warranty Fulfillment

If approved, SWS ships the replacement part at no cost. Customer installs the part. Warranty does not extend or reset with replacement components.

7. Limitations of Liability

SWS is not responsible for lost fishing time, travel costs, guide fees, tournament losses, boat damage, or any incidental or consequential damages. Maximum liability is the original purchase price.
